Capteur Protect Cover Patches were developed to reinforce the fixation of glucose sensors throughout their use. Compatible with Freestyle Libre 2, Freestyle Libre 2 Plus, and Freestyle Libre Select sensors, they help keep the device correctly positioned, reducing the risk of accidental detachment during daily activities. The patches are made of soft, breathable, and durable fabric with a hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive that provides long-lasting fixation without compromising skin comfort. Their high resistance to water, perspiration, and friction allows for use during exercise, showering, swimming, or other activities that may compromise sensor adhesion. Each package contains 4 disposable, single-use patches. This is a Class I medical device, specifically designed for users of continuous glucose monitoring systems.
Ensure the skin is clean and completely dry before application. After placing the glucose sensor, remove the protective film from the patch and carefully apply it to the sensor, pressing the entire surface to ensure good adhesion. The patch should remain in place for the duration of the sensor's use, provided it maintains adequate fixation. Use a new patch whenever you replace the sensor.
Do not use on irritated, damaged, or infected skin. Discontinue use if signs of skin irritation or an allergic reaction to the adhesive appear. Single-use product. Do not reuse. Store between 5°C and 30°C in a dry place, protected from light. For your safety, we recommend that you always check the product instructions and precautions on the packaging.
