Mepilex Lite Soft Silicone Foam Dressing 6x8.5cm was developed for the care of acute or chronic wounds with low levels of exudate, and is indicated in situations where the skin is fragile, sensitive, or susceptible to irritation during dressing removal. Its thin, flexible, and comfortable structure adapts easily to different areas of the body, including areas that are difficult to apply. The Safetac soft silicone technology helps the dressing adhere delicately to intact skin without sticking to the moist wound, allowing for less traumatic and more comfortable dressing changes. This feature also helps minimize damage to the surrounding skin and reduce the risk of maceration caused by moisture accumulation. The absorbent foam helps maintain a moist environment conducive to the healing process while protecting the affected area from external aggressions. The dressing can be used on superficial wounds, ulcers, fragile areas, superficial burns, skin reactions associated with radiotherapy, and for the protection of sensitive or vulnerable skin.
