When skin is very dry or prone to atopy, daily cleansing can leave a feeling of tightness, discomfort, or itching if a suitable product is not used. Uriage Xémose C8+ Cleansing Oil 200 ml was developed to gently cleanse very dry skin prone to atopic eczema, while simultaneously helping to preserve and strengthen the skin barrier. The formula combines a complex of 8 biomimetic ceramides with shea butter, in an approach targeting the three skin barriers: physical, microbiome, and immune. Biomimetic ceramides help strengthen the skin's physical barrier, while shea butter contributes to lipid-replenishing and nourishing action, helping to reduce the feeling of dryness and discomfort. The formula also contains glycerin, a humectant that helps retain water in the superficial layers of the skin. The oil transforms into a soft foam upon contact with water and can be used on the face and body by the whole family, including very sensitive skin. Soap-free, fragrance-free, and dermatologically tested on very dry and atopic-prone skin.
Apply a small amount to previously moistened skin, on the face and/or body, and massage gently until a lather forms. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry gently, without rubbing. Can be used daily during bathing or showering. Avoid contact with eyes.
